Our Strategy

Promanex is an Industrial Support Services business, operating in the UK and Ireland.
The business model for Promanex is simple and clear; we take the principles of engineering and maintenance, applied to the most technical aspects of industry, and apply the same rigour and high standards to support service operations. This provides customers with a single business that for example, can safely and cost effectively maintain their power station cooling system, whilst at the same time also manage the station site services.
The evolving business environment in the UK requires Promanex to continue to develop our range of services, so that our customers are able to optimise value for money and investment. This evolution is driven by the financial challenges faced by our traditional customer base and the need for those businesses to ensure that the ageing assets that they manage are not only safe but are also able to deliver their required output.
Specifically:
- The necessity of investment in new power generation, whilst balancing the need to ensure that the existing generation portfolio remains able to deliver power;
- The environmental impact– including the climate change adoption issues in the water industry and the implications for future power generation;
- Customers becoming more demanding with the requirement for more information and better communications;
- The possible development of new energy networks in the future such as heat networks (as part of district heating schemes) and waste to energy projects;
- The growing skills shortage and resource challenge.
Health and safety policies and procedures that complement the latest customer thinking and performance expectations.
- Many aspects of our work is delivered in a safety critical environment and our customers demand the highest standards of performance and culture;
- Strong customer focus delivering a flexible and responsive service, work specification and great customer service;
- A proven capability to offer flexible and innovative service delivery methods and contract types, resulting in competitive pricing;
- A strong track record and capability to manage complex staff transfers and TUPE situations. This enables us to deliver a single managed entity for the customer;
- An established business improvement capability to transform processes and reduce the cost of delivery on established contracts.
