Promanex enhanced its service portfolio by establishing engineering recruitment services in response to the demanding supplementary blue and white collar labour resource needs and requirements of the energy, petrochemical, process and manufacturing industries.

Our strength is in understanding our customer's industry and the type of personnel they are looking to recruit. We will tailor a recruitment and selection process to your needs and requirements to find the best talent available, enabling you to successfully deliver your project.

As well as a wealth of experience recruiting in the industry, we are proud to be able to call on the knowledge and resources of the Promanex Group, which has been successfully working in the engineering construction industry since 1996.

Promanex is involved in the recruitment of temporary and permanent personnel at various stages of a project, from initial concept through to completion. An example of the sites where we supply personnel include, but are not limited to:
• Fossil fuel power stations
• Nuclear power stations
• Combined heat and power plants

• Flue gas desulphurisation plants

Suitably qualified and experienced personnel

As a minimum, all of our candidates are interviewed, reference checked and assessed for their suitability to any vacancy. Profiles and, where appropriate, trade qualification certificates are supplied to our customer's detailing the candidates experience. In addition to this, some clients and/or sites request full suitably qualified and experienced personnel (SQEP) packs with more in depth information. We work with our customers to ensure that these packs meet their requirements.

Nuclear clearances

Promanex is experienced in obtaining nuclear clearances for their candidates. Especially during peak outages, nuclear cleared personnel are difficult to source and by clearing suitable candidates we can ensure that we can service the labour requirements of our customers.

ECIA

As a member of the ECIA, Promanex is experienced in applying the NAECI agreement, including the health and safety requirements, applying welfare benefits and payment of the agreed NAECI rates. The benefits to our customers include:

• Reduced risk of industrial action;
• No complaints from workers that someone else is being paid more money;
• Union compliance.

Partnership and Reviews

We work in partnership with our customers, as an extension of their company’s recruitment or HR department and as such, attend regular meetings to discuss our performance and how we can adapt to improve the service that we provide. All companies work differently and we are able to bespoke our service to suit our customers’ requirements.
