Tank and Vessel Cleaning

Tank and VesselTanks, including but not limited to petrochemical storage tanks and bulk granular silos are not designed with facilities for human occupation, so external tank cleaning methods such as water jetting are often used instead.

If entry into a hazardous environment or atmosphere is needed, Promanex has a workforce that is fully trained and highly skilled in the safe working practices of confined space entry. All man entry is carried out under strict confined space procedures using the latest safety equipment, breathing apparatus, and rescue techniques.

Requirements for documentation such as confined space permits and permits for work can easily be met by our experienced supervision team who are trained to IOSH standards. We understand all these requirements and are able to plan and execute the tank cleaning process with the minimum of delay.

Teams assigned to the tank cleaning will include all the necessary skills under a qualified leader. Where there is likely to be a hazardous atmosphere there will be breathing equipment, plus operatives with MARS resuscitation equipment, allowing the tank cleaning process to be carried out safely.

Whatever is in the tank, or whatever its previous use, Promanex will take on the cleaning process and carry it through to completion using equipment, tankers and personnel who are experienced in tank cleaning involving all kinds of hazardous residues, including corrosive and volatile substances.
