We employ a team of engineers who have the skills and capabilities to undertake bespoke mechanical, structural, electrical, and hydraulic solutions. The team, all being experienced engineers having spent most of their careers working for the former UK’s leading design and engineering company, were highly involved in numerous projects from the design, manufacture and installation of dockside, and high integrity cranes and roll-on roll-off facilities.

The engineers have between them a great deal of in-depth knowledge of the design of cranes, mechanisms, steel structures and fabrications, assembly, site work installation, commissioning and project management of a wide variety of products.

Promanex are able to provide the mechanical design of the following:
• High integrity cranes – generally within the nuclear market
• Speciality cranes such as dockside cranes or within steelworks
• Lifting beams
• Bogie transfer systems
• Grab type ship- unloaders
• Ship-loaders
• Linear and radial stackers
• Structures – walkways, access gantries
• Flood gates, lock gates
• Foot bridges
